Do therapists think about their clients after sessions?
I can't speak for other therapists, but for myself - I 100% think of my clients after we finish sessions!
I genuinely care about my clients. When I'm in sessions with them they have my full attention, undivided for the hour. Even little moments during the week for me are sprinkled by thoughts of my clients.
I always wish my clients well and I wonder how they are.
It's even more so with clients who unexpectedly finish their sessions or, for whatever reason, sessions need to end. Which is okay because this happens and it's just life. But it can mean that an actual "ending session" will not happen and there's no chance to kind of say to say goodbye. I definitely think about my clients more than if there were an ending session. It's because I always wonder if my clients are well.

I hope that they're well and I genuinely care about my clients - I feel that most therapists are the same.
