LOUD LAMB OFFERS
Confidentially
It's crucial you know you are respected and given the privacy you are entitled to. You have the reassurance that whatever you wish to explore and disclose with your therapist stays between you. Any notes that are kept about you are not be identifiable. See more on our Protection page about this and the legal limitations to confidentiality.
Therapeutic Relationship
Your Loud Lamb therapist is fully committed and invested in working with you. You are their focus and they try to prompt growth, development and understanding. They offer you empathy, unconditional acceptance and take themselves to the 'edge' with you. The relationship is far from manufactured. They are themselves with you and may offer their experience of you.
Unlimited Online Therapy
You have freedom to see a Loud Lamb therapist for as many sessions as you like in a comfortable location of your choosing. You can have long-term or short-term therapy, and can come back for one-off sessions to 'touch base' with your therapist.  We recommend building a relationship with one therapist, though you may wish to meet with a few.
LOUD LAMBÂ DOESN'T OFFER
Instruction
While your therapist may offer ideas for you to explore, Loud Lamb believes that nobody knows your circumstance and what's best for you better than you do.  Your therapist will not take advance of you or attempt to tell you how to live your life.  You are both the expert and the captain in control of your life. Nobody can or should make your decisions but you.
Crisis Response
As a psychotherapy group, Loud Lamb is not designed to help individuals who need urgent (physical or mental) help in an emergency. Should you be in a situation that you are concerned about your own or another's immediate safety, call your local emergency provider. In the UK, call 999 or the numbers available on our Resources page. Immediate help is there for you.
Friendship
The therapeutic relationship is different to friendship. Your therapist will not behave as a friend - they won't chat about their interests, concerns or opinions. They won't disclose aspects of themselves to you unless they feel it is beneficial to the therapeutic work and they have the right to choose whether to answer personal questions should you ask.
Cancellation Policy
Payments must be made in advance of sessions in order for the session to take place. Should you need to cancel your appointment, we appreciate you give us as much notice as possible. Cancelations that are made less than two days before your appointment was due to start will be charged in full. If a session is on Wednesday, it must be cancelled on Monday.
